17 Year Old Kazuma Ise Tops 8C Byaku-dou
Kazuma Ise of Japan has climbed the 8C / V15 “Byaku-dou” in Horai at only 17 years old. The route is a Dai Koyamada project originally put up in 2003 featuring a steep overhanging set of terrible pockets.
12-Year-Old Max Bertone climbs 8c+ “Chykungunya”, downgrades to 8c
Max Bertone is a young prodigy and part of a family of hard climbers. The route “Chykungunya” was an 8c+ variation along the right of another route “Pari” at their local “Ouaki” crag.
13 Year Old Mishka Ishi becomes Youngest Person to Send V15 Boulder
Mishka Ishi at 13 years old has today become the youngest person to climb a V15 / 8C boulder problem. This is a truly astounding feat, given that only three women have ever climbed V15. Ishi is a year younger than the previous youngest – Ashima Shiraishi
