At the age of 22 Phil Mitchell of Liverpool, UK has fair few achievements in climbing already. He is competing in the men’s AL-2 (leg amputees) division in Paris for the IFSC World Climbing Championships this year, and competed in the Spanish IFSC taking 6th place previously.
Phil picked up climbing in his late teens. Starting off at a local bouldering wall his friends took him to, he’s been climbing on plastic and real rock ever since. Check out this video of some great Northumberland sandstone and igneous crags along with your typical Great British weather.
