One of this year’s biggest bouldering events has again showcased some of bouldering’s biggest names at the Porsche-Arena in Stuttgart, Germany for Adidas Rockstars 2016. This year the route setting has been incredible, with a massive mix up of different styles and some very hard problems for both the men’s and women’s competition.
The first problem featured is M1 and W1 – a really interesting run against the wall into some big moves, mirrored for the Men’s and Women’s divisions. It’s great to see the different beta each person uses to top out.
Climbers include Jongwon Chon of Korea, James Kassay of Australia, Jessica Pilz of Austria, Sean McColl of Canada, Petra Klingler of Switzerland, and Janja Garnbret with an amazing top out of W4 – easily the hardest climb of the day.
